5. People who actually WORK five days a week deserve vacations

I think that people question Bush's vacation because he doesn't really seem to work when he's not on vacation.

11. Hopefully, they will still have the regulars on with Rachel. That should

be interesting.

This is a very good sign that AAR is moving to subs because, like they said on the show, there is no slow news time anymore - at least not this August.

I enjoyed her old show. The best of shows were getting old. I love Sam Seder when he fills in for Randi. He's really good solo IMHO. :)

I didn't like her so much with other hosts, but alone she is great. Actually, after listening to AAR for over a year now, haven't we found that the best shows are the ones with a single host only? I even like Sam Seder and Janeane better when they do their show alone.

It seems to work best for Rush, Sean, and all of the others on the right.

Actually, Franken might be the only one that would be worse doing his show alone.

Okay, enough rambling. Flame away if you must.

Franken's show brings in the ratings, which brings in the advertising dollars.

Any responses from someone who is not affiliated with AAR? I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but your handle makes me very suspicious.

I listen to Al everyday and like him. I just think others are better. How bout' we wait another year or two, and then let someone who is better on the radio take over.

15. I don't work for AAR, I work in print advertising. You have to consider

the fact that even though you prefer Rachel over Franken, he's the one who gets the big ratings. That's the way the world of radio and TV works.

If you haven't ever listened to her, you should check it out.
