Everyone write to Gov. Brian Schweitzer of Montana

I am shocked at hearing this - there is no excuse for this and all dog people need to write to him and express their outrage. Sorry I don't have a link.

HELENA, Mont. -- It's a lucky thing for the Montana governor's dog that two state workers happened by on a mid-day walk.

The workers probably saved the dog's life.
The two women were walking near the governor's mansion Wednesday afternoon when they heard a whimper coming from the back yard. They found a small dog suspended by a leash over the side of a brick wall. The dog was slowly strangling.

The women boosted the dog up the wall and back into the yard.
No one was at the mansion, and the governor is on vacation.
Gov. Brian Schweitzer's spokesman said the governor will undoubtedly be grateful
