Scotty loses his place while defending the "anonymous source" and starts talking about how the pretzel in chief doesn't condone leaks. Interesting. We know now who his first priority is as far as protecting people. Was the Prezz involved? Who knew he knew???

Nevertheless he's even more vindictive than Rove, if that's possible.

I'm intrigued.

Scotty says that the WH had no information other than what was in news reports. Earlier he said that "anonymous sources" were cited in the article, he just did it again.

Uh Scotty the "anonymous sources" were also called "Senior White House officials".....this is Rovian to the extreme.

93. And this will be their downfall.
I believe the CIA has PROOF that the order came from the top! They are just letting the WH dig a deeper hole. All I got to say is you DON'T mess with the CIA. Bugs anyone?

What day and time will Scott McClellan get the "Nixon Shove" from Smirky, Like Ron Ziegler did during Watergate?

Nixon bristled when he saw Ziegler helping the news media too much. During one visit to New Orleans, he shoved Ziegler and snapped, "I don't want any press with me, and you take care of it."

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/02/10/politics/main540113.shtml

My fellow geezers will remember the footage of Ron getting spun around by the shoulders and shoved toward to podium by Nixon. Humiliating.

And note that Ziegler actually apologized to the press when the resignations came down.

92. I Miss Ari
Now there was a guy who you could just hate and feel good about it. He was such a damned good jack-booted guardian of the President's media visage! That lying bastard must have spent hours in front of the mirror practicing not gut-laughing or snorting while spinning some of this outrageous yarns and ignoring questions. He was good, but in a really, really bad way.

This guy looks like he needs to go back to whatever high school debate team they recruited him from.

96. I agree. But something really, really smelly must have been
going on when Ari felt the need to step down. I remember I talked to a friend about this, when Karen and Ari jumped ship if something really dangerous to the WH might be coming down the pike for the first rats to start jumping ship.

is the reason Iraq's infrastructure is in shambles.
NOT the sanctions or the relentless bombing.
Got that?
Now, next subject.

"I'll be back tomorrow, gotta go change my depends,
cause I just pissed my pants"
The reporters ATE him for lunch!

99. I was really offended...
...by Jim Angle's "questioning" that was meant only to present Scott McClellan with ways to dodge the questions. He was feeding McClellan help. As was that other reporter who kept insisting on the partisanship of Wilson.

In the meantime, on FAUX, David Corn was battling C. Boyden Gray and a whole audience of FAUX viewers. He did pretty well. Someone needs to tell him, though, that Wilson donated to Bush-Cheney 2000.
