6. You didn't hear it wrong.

preliminary investigation has been ongoing since CIA request in July. White House not asked to save/keep documents until Monday night.

You heard it right - Wolf didn't try to say it, John King messed him up.

Who do you think is raising hell about an investigation request that has been in "preliminary" stages for 2 months? It wasn't Justice or the White House, was it?

They waited several days before dispatching agents to secure documents, giving Enron, Arthur Anderson, etc., plenty time to shred documents and get ready

3. CIA requested investigation in JULY!

Justice only purused it AFTER THE WASHINGTON POST REPORTED IT.

WP does Friday night article, first request to White House for information arrives on Monday night.

The 2nd shoe just dropped.

wolf tried to smear jimmy carter as the reason for the first ind. counsel! powell set him straight about nixon and the fact that carter's admin was found completely innocent of all charges!

10. yes, but what about this love fest for novak?

they both agree that novak would never knowlingly do something to hurt anyone? i can't swallow that at all given how novak has not a shred of remorse. yesterday, he even looked smug when he asserted plame was "only" an analyst. he knew full well his column said she was an agent.
