2. I am worried about the elderly that can't get around,
They showed pictures of the elderly in wheelchairs at the Dome. Who is taking care of them? Helping them with the bathroom...their meds? Then the elderly that have no family to help them make it to the Dome?

This is awfull.

Got cars? Flee. Poor and disabled...stand in lines for hours to get into a building that may have a football sized pool.

I don't care if the mayor is a Democrat on this one.

He FUCKED up.

3. this is NO joking matter...
I couldn't stop thinking today about the people of NOLA who can't just "leave" as the pResident encouraged. Many people are elderly, infirmed, poor, and have no access to a car, or money to stay at a hotel if they could leave.

This is a very, very scary storm...no time for jokes...only prayers, good wishes, and assistance.
