LBJ knew this - if Walter Cronkite ever soured on the war he was doomed. Mr. Cronkite soured on the war. LBJ's "neither seek nor accept" speach is a testament to this historical fact.

What we are seeing here is a grand moll avalanche of news stories and bad editorial press descending on the Bush White House. The White House press corps is asking questions about the CIA operative compromise, almost to the exclusion of everything else. They've even lost NewsMax! That shrill shill USA Today too!

I, for one, have had dizzying moments of euphoria in the past 48 hours.
