I think that this thread should be bronzed in gold. On 10-01-03 Rush Limbaugh was finally exposed, on a national scale, as the racist right-wing sleazebag that we have known him to be. For years we have complained about his blatent lying and sick morality. For years Rush has smiled, while top-ranking Republicans sent him thank-you letters.

Today was truthout day for Rush. See ya buddy! You now have ZERO credibility! Enjoy!

NOTE: I feel thris thread should be printed out, placed in a capsule, and buried in the ground. Perhaps in a 100 years from now some unsuspecting archeologists will dig it up and say, "Hey, that's the bastard that helped to almost ruin the country!"

Remember he got appointed to do this in the middle of this perception that the whole country was going right-wing (turns out they weren't), this same era of Dixie Chicks boycotts and John Stossel being appointed co-anchor of /20/20/. It's like now we're toppling the statues, ridding ourselves of the monuments of that era.

A while ago I got into the practice of taking down the propagandists along with the talking points. If someone was just repeating stuff they heard from the lying liars and I could argue against it, I'd take it one farther and be like "OK, now the people who told you this, do you think they really care about you if they'd embarass you like this?"

I liken this to a sea creature that loses one of it's tenticles. The tenticle will end up growing back. Did losing his TV show hurt him any in the long run?

If anything, this will show main stream TV that this clown is not ready for prime time. Preaching to the choir on a radio show with full control over content is one thing but hiring him to spew to a broad based audience is a bad idea.
