1. First offense.............
probably not. Court ordered drug awareness program and probation. If it was a person of color, yes. Limpball's money and contacts will keep him from serious harm.

2. That's right.
first offense, I forgot about that. He better attend that three motnh court ordered drug awareness program. Some rehab would be appropriate.

3. I doubt it
But his next couple of shows ought to be entertaining. He's gonna be climbing the walls with stress from this ESPN/National Enquirer thing, and going through some cold turkey JONESING on the air.

4. I'd love to see in in prison!
But we don't really know the evidence yet....He would probably get probation if he has a repug judge.

Now, what if he has a fiesty democratic judge? Well, it's worth a second thought but probably the same sentence; probation.

7. I dunno what FL's laws are
In IL, he would almost certainly get probation, inpatient or outpatient rehab (as determined neccessary by a LCWS, or other professional), a hefty fine, etc. .

8. Let Us Hope
This is in a jurisdiction with a very zealous young prosecutor who see this as the "case of a lifetime".

Bringing down big game like the Rustmeister is what these young Ashcrofts Of Tomorrow live for.

Remember, this is a controlled substance that is a serious Federal crime. And there'll be a constant media buzz if this turns from investigation to indictment to trial and beyond.

If the quantities are near correct, money or not, Rush could face big jailtime...and if it comes out that he sold any, he's double meat.

Somehow I get a feeling at 10am this morning I'm gonna hear a rerun of last night's Hannity hatefest...LOL

11. Oh my, they do reap what they sow, don't they?
These alleged offenses took place in, of all places, Palm Beach County. Now, you don't possibly think that 'The Powers That Be' in Palm Beach county could POSSIBLY have ANY reason at all to give a bit of hell like they got during Nov / Dec 2000, do you?

A client of mine used to work for the State Atty's office there (She was a Prosecutor) - I will give her a ring later on today and find out the scoop on the Prosecutorial makeup.. she's tough as nails, and its my guess that anyone that worked with her probably is, too.

See, and people say its bad to live in Florida - I am LOVING this. Dear god I can't WAIT to hear Randi Rhodes this afternoon.

(Randi yesterday, in a subtle way (apparently there's alot she can't talk about) revealed that Rush is basically the one telling her parent company NOT to syndicate her show. Oh man, isn't Karma a beautiful thing?

(Fans of Liberal talk radio, check out Randi, 3-7 PM Eastern.. website: http://therandirhodesshow.com )

12. I wonder if MSRNC will invite pimple ass back to cover another election?
Or maybe they could have him mediate a Democratic Presidential debate.
