IMUS on Limbaugh Drug Charge!!! GUILTY
Edited on Thu Oct-02-03 05:31 AM by Must_B_Free
Barnacle reads about the "Dennys parking lot handoffs."

Imus: "You can't make up how stupid these people are"

(The freepers current defense is to say that the story isn't true because of the controvercial source.

This is the tipping point - what does the mainstream say. Barnacle didn't know what way it was going to roll... Was Imus actually suggesting that Limbaugh was guilty???)

Barnacle: "Who, Wilma ..."

Imus: "No, Limbaugh!".

YES! He's saying this it too stupid to have been fabricated.

1. Imus should know better
YES even Rush is Innocent until a propper court of law and a jury of his peers finds him guilty

4. where would you find
such nasty specimens as could be called Rush's "peers". A jury comprised of Hannity, Liddy, Novak, Coulter, etc. They'd hang him

8. I'm sure InsHannity is excited over this.
As much as the Repubican talk show hosts spout the same pablam to their audience, InsHannity would like to be #1 in the ratings and would cut-throat Rush or anyone else who stood in his way.

Wait till someone questions his unusually effusive attention to Sara Evans.

2. Now the Enquirer wasn't such an unreliable source...
...the story had a Clinton name attached to it. Then it was a matter of record.

3. Denny's
I can just picture Rush getting his drugs in a Denny's parking lot before rushing inside to inhale a huge plate of pancakes with whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries, bacon, sausage etc.

5. Imus is going to pick up some of that audience share, ya know
Edited on Thu Oct-02-03 05:47 AM by 0rganism
It's not like there isn't a conflict of interest there, too. Rush is going from hot air to dead air real quick, which leaves a few million listeners out cold, and the wingnut media sharks are circling hungrily to pick apart one of their own. If I were Rush's lawyer, I wouldn't let Imus or any other "radio personalities" sit on the jury, that's for damn sure.

6. Imus & Rush Are On Many Of The Same Stations
You are right that there's enough ego in Imus (who hates everyone) to want to draw some audience, but he doesn't need it...his is just as large as Rush.

Also a little controversy is always a good thing for talk radio...you gotta bet the ranch Rush is gonna have his largest audience ever later...and the station managers see $$$ in that.

7. And lets face our own truth, we all love it.
He, Rush, has ticked off us so many times who cares and we will laugh over him getting it back.

9. "All these pills are enough to kill an elephant - never mind a man."

"There were times when I worried," Cline told the National Enquirer, which broke the story in an edition being published today. "All these pills are enough to kill an elephant - never mind a man."

Um, isn't Limbaugh the size of an elephant?

11. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
Considering Don Imus has battled his own substance abuse in the past, I don't believe he has market cornered on pontificating morality and righteousness. A little understanding about the powerlessness over addiction would have been appropriate.

If anyone would know about drug-abusing radio hosts, it's Imus, isn't it?

18. Why, when Rush has frequently ranted about minorities not taking personal
responsibility for their actions and always playing the "victim."

There must be a God, afterall....Wonder how he will take the rest of them out.

17. Pots calling kettles black
Imus gloating about someone's drug problems and the well-named plagarist Barnacle are the last people who should be gloating about people hoisred on the petard of their own stupidity.
