Looks like DU being invaded by freeps today
Okay freepers, since you're here maybe you can tell us why your boy in the WH played golf, played guitar and gave a speech about Iraq and WWII (haha) while New Orleans was being FLOODED. And while you're at it please explain the cutting of funds to shore up NOLA so this whole disaster couldn't happen. Come on, let's hear it.

Most of the disruptors I have seen all joined between 08-11 and 08-19--probably to protest Cindy Sheehan, but now are ramping up the "why is it Bush's fault?" arguments.
We have fund drives...they have hate drives.

22. There was a nicer cake story
just before things looked so bad. Did you see the restaurants taking their food to people who were stranded? They knew the food couldn't last without electricity so they were giving it all away.

The man they were interviewing had a huge tray of food he was taking into a hotel that had lost power too. There were some big cakes and other goodies on that particular tray.

I thought how nice that would be for those weary people. Nice of the restaurant too. They were right that it would just be wasted, but taking the time and effort to deliver it all was an act of kindness.
