All I've heard today is how this would compare to recovery from an act of terra in one of our cities. Tweety had someone on at the end discussing that very point. It's already begun.

Where is the international help? Where is the Red Cross? Absolutely no questions from them on Where is the National Guard or Where was our President? The plan is to divert the blame, watch for it.

And, BTW, this whole "the biggest problem is the looters" thing is not just a talking point, it's a natural survivor's guilt reaction - mixed with racial fear.
