What if Katrina had been a terrorist attack instead....
It has become extremely obvious that the US is not prepared to deal with any type of major disaster much less a terrorist attack. There are many reasons why. Most of the reasons come right back to this administration.

3. But we would be seeing lots and lots of flags!
I agree. blivet** had no clue what to do, how to do it and who he should ask. Obviously poppa has been no help and babs can't bother her beautiful mind with the bodies that are awaiting discovery.

Fuck them all!

6. And hopefully, that God doesn't talk directly to him
because if he did and he ignored that PDB (well, he was on vacation - maybe his chanel was tuned to a different station), he has no base to call on anymore ... ever! :sarcasm:

9. We all realize it, I just wonder if they do?
The right, I mean...

It seems some of them are so out of touch with reality that they will convince themselves of anything to hold on to their beliefs. Kwim?

5. Exactly what I've been thinking
for the past few days. With all the freaking color codes and bullshit I don't think we can handle squat.

7. I've been arguing that all day.
Breeching those levees could just as easily have been a terrorist attack, but in a full, inhabited, sleeping city. The Chimp left us unprotected on 9/11/01, and on 8/29/05. The Worst President in History lives up to his name. I spit on him, and his family.

10. We've already seen what happens with a terrorist attack.
1. Utterly inadequate response.
2. Throwing the country into a huge military fiasco.
3. It ends up that Bushler et al made it happen anyway (in this case, it's budget cuts etc. that made it happen; a hurricane was bound to hit anyway).
