41 cents in an afternoon
Local station went from $2.54 to $2.95 in three hours. This is naked piracy.

CostCo, God bless 'em, have kept there prices stable and had LONG lines for gas. Employees were sent out to talk to customers in line and give them cookies while they waited.

3. Yep
$2.83 yesterday, $3.01 this AM, $3.23 this evening. (North Jersey)

Can we say price gouging?

Some guy on CBS radio this morning said since gas is a commodity that anything goes as far as price increases.

2. Costco -- What being "blue" looks like.
Recommending for the glaring difference between red & blue corporate behavior.

4. 60 cents in two days in E. Tenn.
The corner station where I always fill up had been stuck on $2.49 for over a week. Then yesterday, it went to $2.53 mid-day then up to $2.65 by the end of the day. Still $2.65 this morning, but up to $2.99 when I went home for lunch, and again up to $3.09 when I came home after work this evening.

Thankfully I live close to where I work--time to start walking or biking.

very quickly.

Not to mention that this is going to smash the economy.

9. Yeah. Rising gas prices are still just a nuisance.
But just wait till the transportation costs get tacked onto groceries and other goods. For now it justs costs a little more to get to the store; soon, getting to the store won't be our only problem.
