Savage is trashing bush
He's demanding price caps on gas now. "I believe in the free market as much as anyone else, but when you have a monopoly that's not the free market" (now paraphrasing) "and when you have a national emergency on top of that, you have to throw out free market rules. The government has to regulate monopolies, that's what the government is for to see that oil companies can make a reasonable profit, but not an outrageous one. It's not communism. Nixon did it." He's predicting 4-5 dollars a gallon soon and civil unrest if there is no action.

Then he was trashing Michael Chertoff over a clip of him on CNN telling people affected by the hurricane to go to a website to learn how they can get aid, food, shelter when there's a splitscrean of people wading through waist-deep water. "It's like something out of Monty Python"

Just thought some of you might be amused by this

4. Savage et al. made their deal with Satan himself, and now he can live with
the consequences. It's always been a Big Oil administration from Day One, and Big Oil is as corrupt a business as any there are. What did he expect? When you lie down with sewer sludge, you start stinking too. And now it's time for sacrifice, not just plastic yellow ribbons and flags on car antennas. We'll see how loyal *'s loyalists really are when it's their turn to lose something.

6. Interesting that it was gas prices
that got his goat. Everyone should be outraged about Bushits 3 day inability to do anything. If they'd gotten their act together then, the military ships would be almost there.

13. I absolutely freaking hate
that the reason so many of these selfish bastards are turning on the freak in chief is because of gas prices - not that he brings death and destruction to whatever he touches. Tens of thousands - I think well over 100,000 are dead because of this freak - but what upsets them is the gas prices -

But I have resigned myself to the fact that whatever it takes to bring this murderous bastard down then so be it.

17. It's not hurting him
he's making millions with his nightly scatterbrined ramblings, eventhough I think he does hit the mark in a big way sometimes.
