They've been out since 11AM. They were the cheapest in town at $3.09 unleaded regular.

All Krogers in the region are out, and don't know when they will get more.

11. Fuck it. Let 'em run out.
If the station up the corner from me doesn't have any when I need it I'm calling in to work. I'm lucky enough to have all the stores and services I need within walking distance. I do realize not everyone has things that close to them. But I'll be damned if I'm joining the panicked sheeple in my neighborhood making a run on the gas pumps. If enough people refuse to dance to the gas companies' tune, they'll have to start behaving.

12. It's easy to say but hard to do.
"If enough people refuse to dance to the gas companies' tune, they'll have to start behaving."

I'm sure all of us would if we could - but we've got to get to work (or school) to pay our bills. I don't know anyone who can just refuse to buy gas anymore. They couldn't walk to work if they wanted. People can't just boycott gas unfortunately.

I wish there was something we could do :( They've got us by the balls and they know it.

13. People could refuse to go to work until the prices come down
I know, wishful thinking. But seriously, if a large enough percentage of Americans stayed home from work, enough to shut the economy down for a day or two, you bet your ass the gas prices would drop. Problem is convincing that many people to do it.

16. Some people get paid by the day.
If they miss work, they can't take a personal/vacation day.

They're shit out of luck. That's a whole day's pay they're out.

They can't do that.

22. Oh I know that
But if all, or most, of the people who did have leave they could use were willing to use it, it would cripple business and the Chimp's oil cronies.
