Preplanned hurricane emerge disaster plans should have been on standby as Katrina hovered off the coast days before landfall. Bush don't plan and he don't react. They just stage and invade for the advantage of their rich buddies.

I give him credit for spending time in the Superdome during the storm and then after when the flooding started.

OK, OK, yeah he's a TV star and probably has an air conditioned van and bottled water to sustain him.

But, he is seeing this first hand and it's showing. He seems to be allowing a certain amount of frustration to show regarding the federal response to this disaster.

But, tonight, he was doing a credible job reporting on what it's really like in NOLA.

There will be pictures of Bush on rubble in NOLA talking through a bullhorn talking about support and rebuilding. Chris Matthews will swoon. Brit Hume will invest in oil futures. Sean Hannity will blame Clinton for the hurricane. Bush's poll numbers will soar.
