Dumbest Bush Quote About Katrina Disaster So Far
This moron is flying over the devastation in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, and comes out with this gem.....

Seventh paragraph of the posted news story:

President Bush flew over the ravaged city and parts of Mississippi's hurricane-blasted coastline in Air force One. Turning to his aides, he said: "It's totally wiped out,...it's devastating, it's got to be doubly devastating on the ground."

What a dope, what a F**king dope.

19. This is the guy we have leading us?
Even his proto-type Dan Quayle wasn't this callous or stupid. Think about it this way. At least Quayle could speak without fumbling over words that are easy to speak, or inventing new words.

the first time I heard of him which was around the time of the Karla Faye Tucker execution.

I can't believe anyone with half a brain would vote for this guy.

30. AP, Fox, etc carried the quote. WH source for quote is Scott
McClellan, WH press secty, according to the WH's own pipeline/rumormonger Drudge. No doubt the quote was given to press by the WH to show Bush's "compassion." The WH is so tone deaf in attempting to simulate compassion, however, that they don't realize how such statements play to those with genuine human feelings.

I would agree that might have been THE dumbest thing he's ever said.......until this morning, that is, when he told Diane Sawyer:

" I dont think ANYONE could have predicted the breach of the levees"

His level of stupidity never ceases to amaze me. :banghead:

anybody who's lived in NO. But then, his good pal CondorLizard didn't think anybody could have predicted terrorists would fly airplanes into buildings, either. These people are wanking idiots.

36. He's just a LIAR. He knew the levees could be breached
because HE IS THE ONE WHO CUT THE FUNDING FOR THE LEVEE PROJECT IN NOLA. :grr: He's just trying to dodge the blame here and it's NOT going to work. BECAUSE OF HIS DIRECT ACTIONS BEFORE AND AFTER Katrina hit, millions are homeless and thousands are dead. Once again, he owns THIS DISASTER. It's ALL HIS!
