4. Our fault for lack of refineries?
I don't get the connection there.

ANWR.. of course, they would bring that up. Stupid people, that would be sent overseas. No effect here.

6. We have a school district out of fuel in Florida
Orange county sent out a press released today stating they had enough oil until Friday. If they don't get a shipment, then Parents will have to drive kids to School.

Hmmmm.. don't sound like "induced panic". Sounds like reason to panic.

Gawd! Them people are just as stupid as I remember. Thanks guys for being able to continue to read such hate filled piss. Several years ago I did my best. But I just couldn't do it anymore. Pretty sick place.

I hope you cleaned your hands before you came back home. LOL!

12. Yes, here it is.
http://www.local6.com/education/4921057/detail.html

A snip of the article.....

The pipelines out of New Orleans that supply the district with diesel fuel have no power and the suppliers have canceled the shipments.

So, the school district estimates it has enough gas to bus students to and from school through Friday, Local 6 News reported. If another shipment of fuel does not come before Friday buses will not be able to run.

3. ANWR couldn't help for at least a decade
President Eisenhower, a Republican, set this land aside forever saying it should never be exploited by commercialism.

10. There is no gas on the Gulf Coast where I live in AL. People were fighting
today at the gas stations. It's just gone crazy here. The National Guard had to come and guard the gas stations and distribution centers because of the violence induced by desperation. It's horrible!

The entire AL National Guard (that are not in Iraq) have been activated to go to MS and LA as of today. A few will stay here because there is a lot of damage here on the coast as well. A few of the towns directly on the coast are really devastated. Oil rigs, etc. washing up, bridges damaged, etc. Entire neighborhoods basically gone.

11. So I take a walk on the freeper side and the
first thing I notice is that they don't have any threads about how bad the people have it and what can they do to help. No mention of help of any kind that I could find. Freaked me out. They had more articles about Cindy Sheehan than Katrina which I though was odd for what has happened, but they have a lot more hate Cindy threads going than any mention of Katrina and the poor people who are suffering.
