....for levee reinforcement in New Orleans....this story HAS to emerge, once the focus - which is right now rightfully zeroed squarely upon the scope of this disaster and it's aftermath - broadens to include questions like "How could this happen"?? Ask George. He took the plans and the money sought to make sure levee breaches like this didn't happen....and spent it on his illegal and immoral war. Diversion of critical resources away from protecting national security interests, to pursue a reckless and immoral policy of Mesopotamian imperialism, are nothing new for Bush and the PNAC group. Two words: Tora Bora.

1. Well, incompetence, hubris, and the purposeful undermining of resources,
I guess that about encompasses it.

But, who will carry our banner? Perhaps we can resurrect the ghosts from the Civil War, those of them who may need redemption may be willing to stand up to George's evil war on America and the civilized world.

So, shall we sound the drums and summon the old Celts to war? I stand with my great great grandfathers and mothers. And, have no doubt, this is a war for our quality of life, for our existence. George and the shadows behind him are the enemy.

And, I am quite tired of this. I think we all are.
