2. DUH.. Iraq. Half the guard is in Iraq. Most of the equip. is there too.
No helicopters, no personell carriers.

It's a disgrace.

3. Aaron Brown revealed his true colors
He was on the phone with some official from MS. The frustrated official said that there was no help because most of the National Guard was in Iraq. Brown seemed taken aback and then finally retorted that that remains to be seen whether that is the case or not or some BS like that.

my husband, who was wiping the kitchen counters off at the time, tossed his towel in the air and said "I call foul. Sheer stupidty on the field."

Cause troops are used during disasters.

They don't want to admit that the stricken areas are not getting the help they need on a timely basis.
