I just emailed my senators and my representative about help for victims

I just sent emails to my senators, Murray and Cantwell, as well as to my congressman, Jim McDermott (:loveya: ) and asked them to put pressure on * and his administration to do more for the victims of Katrina. I told them that I was sickened and appalled at the slowness of *'s response, as well as the inadequateness of it. I also said I thought it horrible that while people were dying, * was playing golf and eating cake. If you have not written your senators and representative, please think about doing so. I am beyond anger now at this crappy administration!!!!!

I know * won't listen to a lowly commoner like me, but maybe the people who are supposed to represent me in DC can get to him. One can only hope.

4. I'd go further, and urge them to impeach Bush for cutting funds

to New Orleans for hurricane prevention, ignoring warnings of scientists, engineers and politicians from Louisana. He jeopardized national security and cost many people their lives--

I'm gonna kick this up again, and urge people to write/call/email their senators and representatives to put the pressure on *. As we know, 2006 elections are not far away, and lots of members of Congress are up for re-election. Me thinks they might listen a little more closely to "we the people" right now.
