What happened to the Kuwait/WMD smuggling story???
Edited on Thu Oct-02-03 09:40 AM by djg21
The one that Drudge links to in the Hindustan Times. It would seem to me that if it were credible, it would have been picked up by the mainstream US media, and trumpeted about by the Repugs. Has it been discredited?

Here's the link to the Hindustan Times Story.

2. No network would touch this story
without iron clad proof of sources. Too many times burned by false WMD finds and outright lies. Bet some are checking, just in case - (can you imaging FAUX not covering this?). If it is real, then the world will explode.

3. here's the updated story--"baseless"
"Al-Sabah was responding to a question about a report the paper carried on Wednesday that Kuwaiti security forces had foiled an attempt to smuggle artefacts, chemical materials and biological warheads from Iraq to a European country via Kuwait.

Kuwaiti security sources told Reuters on Wednesday the report on the seizure of such weapons was baseless"

4. That's a pity
Nothing jazzes up a good report like a fumky bassline.
