This is what NOLA has sunk to - do it yourself law enforcement
Alert in Algiers
Wednesday, 10:05 p.m

Several residents of Algiers Point have posted door signs telling would-be trespassers that they are home and have guns to defend themselves. Resident Vnnie Pervel, former Algiers Point Association president, said he and a few other residents had been trying to sleep by day and patrol the streets at night.

3. I don't blame them, and I'd do the same if I were there.
Whether it's the hurricane or the looters they're the same victims.

5. This is the other sort of looting that's not about food & water.
This is why I support the 2nd amendment wholeheartedly.

6. Use scatter guns !!!

Most likely to hit your target and least likely to kill. Don't break into somebody's home. If they shot and killed invaders, I would not lament.

We may see warfare in New Orleans before things get better.
