1. Actually, he DID waste a lot of time
By the time Chimpy got done running like a scared rabbit from hidey hole to hidey hole, Mayor Giuliani was already striding the streets of New York like a colossus and Bill Clinton had returned to the country from a trip to Australia to lend support through his presence.

6. Right
He had to wait to make sure it was safe for himself and then surround himself with the real hero's.

9. Yes, I agree. He wasted a bunch of time. Just like now.
He flew to Omaha then Lousiana (because they didn't know if the terrorists were going to try to take AF1 out....duh if they'd wanted to do that they would have done it before he went to STRATCOM! PLUS..if you're worried about an air-to-air strike...put the bloody plane down and park it!)

Smoke and mirrors.

I think in the next few weeks we are going to find much negligence from our "esteemed" president and his cabal.

14. Yep. he showed up only after loud voices
in NYC expressed their outrage over his absence.

No doubt Karen Hughes had to put the finishing touches on the script George acted out for us, and Karl had to vet the cast, so there was something of a hold up for the opening of his play "The Cheerleader on a Pyre."

2. No, he took days to get to NY also. Seems to be his mo.
Remember he flew all over the country looking for a hidey-hole and Clinton, who was in Australia, got to NY faster than Bush. He also did the same thing for the tsunami - he's just not fast enough on his feet to do anybody any good, but he's right there for the photo-ops. Total waste of a human being.

I wonder what President Carter and Habitat For Humanity are going to do.

11. Sorry, that's wrong.
New Yorkers were on their own for a while...& the silence from D.C. was deafening...I know, I was there.

Guiliani led the city along with heroic police, fire, EMS workers, & lots of regular folks who jumped in & helped. Also, surrounding areas responded immediately, from the boroughs & New Jersey & Ct.

The volunteers were overwhelming, & it was a magnificent effort.

13. He only does photo ops with black people
who have been properly vetted and brainwashed. He can't be seen with your average African American. That would alienate his redneck, white fundie base!
