What the hell is up with this "Renegade Bus" nonsense?
Why the hell is this CNN reporter, Sean Calleb, talking about this bus as a "renegade"?? And asking if it is shameless or desperate? OMFG!!!! :wtf: That poor fellow had absolute exhaustion on his face and this stupid reporter had nothing to do but ask him about cots. I am outraged at such nonsense and insensitivity. Asshole.

Thank god for Anderson Cooper and Nancy Grace's segment. They asked the appropriate questions.

5. lol, thanks for the laugh on that one. surprisingly, she actually seemed
genuinely concerned and upset. of course, she does have family down in that area and that could have something to do with it. Anderson cooper has family down there too.

2. They just framed the hell out of the victim who was interviewed.
Know what? It's pretty clear that he wasn't at the Superdome, and he shouldn't be speaking to cameras, but it's also pretty clear that he just walked through hell, and he could use our sympathy now and CNN's armchair moralizing later.

They keep showing that interview, again and again and again.

Are they trying to turn "Renegade Bus" into "Runaway Bride"? Would it be an easier, more spoon-fed story that way?

Grrrrr.

4. a bus must be from a center (a "super" dome) not the periphery...
or it will not be officially sanctioned. Orders handed down straight from Herr Furher.

21. There was a reporter asking a black guy with a red shirt on....
I don't know if the guy was from a "renegade bus" :eyes:

but the reporter was asking him about what things were like inside, did you sleep in chairs, stuff like that, then he said "You have sweat stains on your shirt, have you had a bath...?"

Ridiculous.

THURSDAY 12:29 A.M. - CNN: A Harris County judge is now describing an Orleans Parish bus that arrived at Houston's Astrodome late Wednesday night as a "renegade" bus, CNN reports. Astrodome officials were not expecting a caravan of Greyhound buses carrying Superdome evacuees until Thursday.

12:38 A.M. - CNN: Two more buses have arrived at Houston's Astrodome. One of the buses, an Sierra Trailways tour bus, has been confirmed by Harris County officials as part of the official caravan from the Superdome. Officials were not able to confirm the status of the other, an Orleans Parish School Bus.
