When was the last time he appeared in public? He's been very scarce since he checked into the Colorado hospital. Bush acts like there's no one to tell him what to do, so he just wanders around mindlessly. Well, he's always mindless, but he seems even worse now.

2. He WAS at the news conference in TX
when Condi and Rummy were there. Haven't seen him much since then. Maybe he's enjoying the clear mountain air and lovely waters at his place in Wyoming...:sarcasm:

7. That's right....he was dressed for a polar expedition if I remember.
I thought his clothing was way too heavy for the climate. What's he hiding? A portable heart lung machine?

3. There was mention last night of a Republican talking about...
Cheney not being awake enough to know what's going on, like he knew he was sick. I wish I could find the thread...

4. The infamous Capital Hill Blue claims he is too sick to do anything
and that Rumsfield is running things. That's as scary as Bush running things. But since it was the CHB, I dismissed it. Now, though, it fits what's happening./

8. That explains a lot
They're both crazy right-wing asses, but Cheney is capable and shrewd. Rummy couldn't manage a 7-11, which would explain how New Orleans has degenerated into Baghdad on the Bayou.

6. I heard he was at a fundraiser in St. Louis....but did anyone really see
Edited on Thu Sep-01-05 03:24 AM by Old and In the Way
him?

I'm really wondering too. I know Cheney could give a rat's ass for the dirty masses in NO, but even he would pencil in a photo-op between local fundraisers. It would be just like these people to keep the fact that he's in a coma and on a respirator a state secret. The last thing Halliburton and Big Oil want is anyone to snoop around the Office of the President. They weren't kidding when they said they'd run a transparent operation. It is so transparent that he's invisible.

I wonder if the terrorists got him? Should we put an APB out for him?

9. Maybe we should start a rumor that he died. At least then maybe
he'd have to respond to it. More importantly, the media might have to start wondering publicly about his health.
