I Demand the Immediate Resignation of George W. Bush & Dick Cheney

I will be calling my Senators and my Representatives this morning to convey this message.

I will further add that if they do not join me in calling for the immediate resignation of these incompetent walking disasters that, Democrat or Republican, I will begin making financial donations to their opponents during the Primary races with a "throw ALL the bums out" theme.

I will be writing a letter to my local newspapers, and contacting my local television stations (phone numbers all being available in my local yellow pages) to further convey this message.

I will be referring to the New Orleans disaster as "the last straw" in the long line of BAD JUDGMENT that is destroying my country.

I will be mentioning the information from this thread (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=4523783) which details quite specifically the financing cuts to the levee in New Orleans, as well as the gutting of FEMA, with a side topping of "National Guard in Iraq."

Please join me in this effort -- keep it kicked!

He concurred with me that the defunding of emergency management programs in the New Orleans area was racially biased and tantamount to an act of genocide. I was irritated at the unceremonious manner in which I was cut off (a "goodbye" statement would have been perfectly satisfactory to me no matter how early it occurred, or if I had been talked over), but the message still got across.

And furthermore, after I was cut off, he said that I had put two and two together, and I found that affirmation very reassuring.

and gave my message to the call screener. He was very nice! When I said I was calling for their resignation, his immediate response was "Join the Club!"

and recommended =) I'll be calling my "powers that be" later this morning.

Our country needs some leadership NOW.

Bush and Cheney are guilty of Dereliction of Duty.

Congress needs to convene an emergency special session and do something about this mess before it really gets out of hand. Which is exactly what Bush and his rapture ready followers want.

Speaking of cheney, has anyone seen him or heard him in the last several weeks? Not a peep at all for over a month, I'd say. Not that I miss him or anything, but you gotta wonder here. Normally he'd be out there talking about the last throes or some crap like that.
