Question: Where are the Oil Reserves stored?
I heard this morning on the radio that the oil reserves that bu$h is talking about releasing are actually stored in New Orleans.
If that is true that makes him a bigger ass than he already is.

If they really wanted to do something about this they would start mixing Ethanol with the fuel nation wide instead of just Iowa.

2. Near the Texas/La border
The majority of the SOR is stored there in undeground salt domes.

If I remember correctly from 2000.

3. IIRC some of the SPR is stored in Texas as well.
I haven't heard that any of it has been made inaccessible by Katrina.

4. Salt caverns......
The Strategic Petroleum Reserve is a U.S. Government complex of four sites created in deep underground salt caverns along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast that hold emergency supplies of crude oil.

8. How many years have the republicans been in charge? I get
a little sick of them blaming democratic party for the reasons refineries are not being built.

9. For what it's worth,
Ethanol use is broader than Iowa - Nebraska also uses Ethanol. I suspect other states in the corn belt use ethanol as well.
