things really are...President lunatic smiles and has casual conversations with Diane Sawyer and acts like starting work on a plan for NO on Wednesday was good enough.

I'm am fucking sickened about this.

relief workers are being shot at, gangs of looters are comandeering relief boats. Bus evacuations are being suspended because people are shooting at the busses and evacuees.

....panic...shock...and survival instinct...it's sad but true...and enough wasn't done soon enough to help stop this type of thing from happening....with ALL the money that was supposed to be being used in the time since 9*11 to coordinate the homeland security...this is the perfect example of how truly fucked we are as a *civilized society*.

I don't know why it's taken so long for national guard to get there...that's been one big problem. The police, who have long ago lost communication with their chief, are just way over their heads.

2. you got that right. listening in on those cops and NGs was an earful

amazing listening to it in the early morning hours. probably only a handful of us knew what was happening on the ground at the dome. those guys sounded scared and tired.

we probably knew more about what was happening than the government in washington.

bush........he ain't the president no more.

that much is clear.
