Wynton Marsalis -- "It's a result of our society today"
When asked about the looting and violence on CNN this morning, he said (slightly paraphrased): "It's an inevitable result of what our society has become. When you have a culture that creates cities filled with poor teeming masses, this is what happens."

2. he's right. and add a couple of other issues, like
the hatred of WalMart due to their policies - an explosive situation. I wonder if WalMart truly understands how much hatred they have spawned across America.

I just saw a replay of the POLICE strolling through the WalMart, helping themselves.

Words fail me.
