Forget gas. I'd start stockpiling FOOD now.

Because gas costing $5/gallon is going to have a sharp impact at the grocery store really soon. It's going to get expensive just to eat.

if you financially can - the people on the Gulf Coast don't have the luxury of stocking up. Please let's not panic and in our fear forget those who have it much worse than we do.
