6. She's always reminded me of Ungoliant.
The evil creature of spider-form who was Melkor's accomplice in the Darkening of Valinor, and who fled with him to Middle-earth. The creatures that infested the Ered Gorgoroth were her offspring and descendants, as was Shelob who dwelt on the borders of Mordor.

7. you and I are on the same wavelength
Although I call her "Echidna, the mother of all monsters"

She was featured on one of the early Kevin Sorbo "Hercules" shows. I have no idea if she is a real Greek goddess/titan, but the description fit rather well.

11. Yup, and the more words they used to try to clean up
that sentence, the more coats of lipstick went on that pig, it still sounded exactly as she had said it and meant it.

12. it did to me too.
even if the discussion was a 'what if' scenario, its pretty callous for her not to want to consider it.

snopes did nothing to help her.

also, i'm beginning to suspect anything i read on their site now.

10. It's my sig quote
I wanted to be reminded every day how clueless, unfeeling, and lacking in compassion Barbara Bush and those of her ilk are.
