My fellow Americans.....

"We are Americans because we hang together. Otherwise, we hang separately. New Orleans, Gulfport, Slidell, and other cities along our Gulf Coast are experiencing a catastrophic disaster. We must all work together to help anyone and everyone that needs our assistance. We are not Democrats and Republicans at this time. We are Americans. We are putting 100% of our assets, military and otherwise, into the area to save lives and to bring some order and assistance to those in immediate need. We will do everything humanly possible to evacuate and take care of those now in dire need. Every Governor of every state is requested to assist with their National Guards. We are airlifting food and water to designated areas along the coast. Individually, if your town or city would like to assist, you can contribute blankets, clothes, food, water, and other necessities and have volunteers drive the trucks to assistance points, which will be taken from there to those most in need. This is a most trying time for our nation but we will pull through and we will pull through as one nation. You can call your local Red Cross for directions of further assistance. We will not rest until this job is done."
