All this criticism of Bush is demoralizing New Orleans
Edited on Thu Sep-01-05 10:27 AM by GarySeven
I am so sick of the people on this board criticizing Bush. Why do they hate America? Why do they support the hurricanes and the floods? Don't they know that the hurricanes take advantage of their criticism to demoralize the people of New Orleans? There are a lot of postitive things going on in New Orleans - whole streets of ghettos have now been cleared for gleaming new shopping malls, but do you hear anything about that on the news? No, these crybaby liberals are all going on about how Bush "caused" federal funds to be diverted from emergency services and about how this administration has "mismanaged" disaster response. At least we are keeping these storms down in the Gulf - better to deal with them down there and not up here in the Red States.

24. I can't promise that.
I'm going to talk shit about him until the day I die. I'm going to make sure my grandchildren and great-grandchildren know just exactly what a nasty evil son of a bitch he and ALL his repuke cohorts were in this time period.

And I'll find one or two grandchildren or great-grandchildren who seem particularly interested and ask them to be the standard-bearer, carrying on the story of how fucked up awful things were under the repukes at the beginning of the 21st century wellll into the future.

14. Yep...Plenty Of Opportunities
Nothing helps land values like a good natural disaster to clear out the riff-raff. Chicago cleared out their original slums with their fire, and San Francisco did so with an earthquake.

One person's misery is another's opportunity. I'm just waiting for the petroleum industry to cry "help"...that they don't have the "resources" to rebuild all those refineries, off shore wells and docking facilities, so they'll need a government bail-out. I can smell it coming.

By the way...there is a :sarcasm: gif here... : sarcasm :

16. On the ABC news board...
... someone said "don't be so hard on Pres Bush. He has had to deal with way more than any other president. He is also the most criricized. Why can't people just help our president and forget politics."

You see some crack in support but there are still sheeple. Is it possible there really are brain implants being used?

20. Talking points! Get yer talking points right here!
1. Bill Clinton caused this disaster by making the kind of hedonistic lifestyle they have in New Orleans acceptable.

2. New Orleans was settled by the French - so it promptly surrendered to the hurricane

3. Etc., etc.
