Why isn't anyone talking about this? This is HUGE!

I was listening the NO police scanner stream and someone came on and shouted (to paraphrase):

"FEMA IS SHUTTING DOWN ZEPHYR FIELD (the main staging base), THEY CAN'T DO THAT! WE HAVE A GOOD SYSTEM HERE, IF THEY SHUT DOWN THE BASE WE ARE OUT OF BUSINESS!"

Why is FEMA actively scuttling the search&rescue!?

If that happenes the national guard can't do their jobs.

They are stretched extremely thin as it is, and what few people they do have are coming back from double and triple tours of duty in Iraq.

Im guessing it is too dangerous because of armed mobs and no National Guard.

I'm trying to explain my thoughts but am having a hard time. I just know that for some reason they are doing this on purpose. They kept trying to get bulldog 3 to leave SD during the fire. Telling him to leave and tell the firefighters to leave. Thankfully this guardsman refused over 5 times. Saying each time that everything is okay. He had everything secured.
They were persistent. When that didn't work they asked for a couple of his men to go get the mayor. I'm assuming they thought when he did this that he wouldn't be able to contain the victims anymore. They were wrong. Something is fishy and anyone who has been listening since this morning can tell. Last night a general came and visited the dome. A guardsman was shot at this same time. Now they have turned the story saying that someone shot at a helicopter and that's why no one was being evacuated. This is a fabrication. The helicopter was never shot at. It was just a soldier shot at. The stories are being switched so they have a cover story when all hell breaks loose. That's my op.

Cleary, bush knew about NO hurricane issue...and cut funding and now FEMA is playing the role.

SOmebody is not telling the truth....the questions is why?

This is happening because is going to be an attack another city and they need FEMA in another place? I don’t know ....but they know something is going on and is really scary.. :scared:

If folks are still stuck in their attics they are not alive.


NO is a town of 800K?

that means 250,000 homes. Even if 75% evacuated prior to the Hurricane. That is still 50,00 homes that needs to be checked.

But EMS does not have any idea which houses might be occupied,

If people are stuck insde with no water. no food, extreme heat and no way to get on the roof..... for four day...the odds are awful.

It doesn't work though, it has reached its maximum connections and is constantly dropping listeners.

They're awarding reconstruction dollars. I'm sure they're capable of concentrating on two things at once, but all available resources should be concentrated in one area right now.

It was on the radio a few minutes ago. Two choppers have been hit, one wounding a soldier inside, and a number rescue boat groups came under fire this morning. They're stopping ops until they can secure the city or get armed protection for the rescuers so they can shoot back.

We have people SHOOTING at the rescuers. What has my hometown become?
