Astrodome ---people coming on foot or car were not allowed in. No
follow up on this report earlier.
But the reporter was saying the Astrodome was meant for the refugees from the Superdome.
But it did show people saying--we were at a hotel and now our money has run out and we have no place to go.
Anyone hear anything else?

7. There is no better place available right now.
Houston is not far from NOLA. The Astrodome has power, water, etc., & is in the middle of a fully functioning city. And right next door to the Texas Medical Center.

The people surely need to be staged to other locations in the long run, but this is a start.
