MSNBC Reporting that there have been no supplies.
On Connected, Ron Reagan interviewing reporter down there saying that she has been there for four days (near convention center in NO) and she has not seen one person with supplies coming in. She also said reporters are going to have to leave by tonight because it is too dangerous for them. There are dead people laying in the street. Also, she mentioned her disgust at the fact that they have not just dropped food/water by helicopter like the U.S. has done for other countries. She must not have seen * on GMA this morning stating that the food/water drops are "not very effective"!!!! WTF

3. Those are God's children.
And thanks to bush, they are dying. I would turn into a savage after no food/water for myself or my children.

4. So would I, in a heartbeat
Our first responsibility as parents is to save our children. Storm the grocery stores. They must save their kids and themselves.

5. Don't you remember the Republican motto:
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day; Teach him to fish and he eats forever?

Instead of food drops, I guess they're going to set up fishing classes.

7. You have it wrong, sir or madam!
The Republican version is as follows:

"Give a man a fish, and that man knows where to come for fish. Teach a man to fish, and you dilute your market-share."

6. I guess it's gonna take an uprising of the northern states
to take care of the southern ones.

That's what it's looking like.

8. I can speculate
that they don't want to drop too little into a crowd of 20,000 people because it would result in trampling deaths. Drop 1000 MREs and 1000 one liter water bottles into a crowd 20 times as numerous, a crowd of people on the edge of collapse from dehydration, you'll have killing.

But holy shit, NOTHING? Nothing at all?
There has to be a better option and there better be a full accounting made of this total failure by our government.

9. They haven't dropped supplies by helicopter yet?
Do they actually want people to die? The whole thing is incredible.
