It's 9/11 all over again, and as Frank Rich said sortof, the American people are bored by reruns and don't understand why there isn't a new story line for the next episode.

I'll add that the American People are scared shitless knowing that a) there are plenty of risks that Americans do know about, from weather to disease to terror and b) the people we assumed were keeping an eye on things and preparing, aren't.

How's he going to admit that someone even asked for money to prevent the failure that nobody could have predicted?

Yes, nobody made any mistakes. It's a rerun of a program America was sick of months ago.
