With racist pronouncements, the fRepulsives have decided that New Orleans is not worthy of aid, help or compassion. So, while the fCreeps continue to shout about protecting uhmerka from vague security threats, it seems the freep concept of "all men are created equal, but some are more equal than others" is in full effect.

We must protect America, but not New Orleans.

Next topic, isn't it about time that the Democrats start organizing their own aid distribution? Since the Republican government cannot get their shit together, Democrats should just work around them. If any groups want to cleave to the Democratic efforts, they should do so. Since we have a huge outpouring of aid and concern from private individuals and corporate entities as Rachael Maddow has just reported, then the resources they are willing to provide should be utilized, and the Dems should simply undertake the responsibility to do so. The Democratic Party has people who have experience in such things from prior administrations. Just do it. Become the shadow government. It could get dangerous, from all sides. We will win nothing without risk.
