I hear the sound of crickets chirping

I'm listening to the Limbaugh show, which Rush isn't hosting today. Rush's sub today, Tom Sullivan, made a quick mention of the "news stories swirling around Rush" and how "Rush would be the best one to address these". Made sure that all of the dittohead understood that Rush had a commitment to this National Broadcasters Association breakfast for a year(two quick asides, one, I've read in other sources that this is a sports broadcasters breakfast, and second, nothing was mentioned yesterday that Rush would be gone, apparently Sullivan was a last minute sub).

Anyway, after that brief brush over nothing else has been mentioned about Rush, either by the host or the callers, focusing strictly on the CA election.

Let's see, what's the name of that river in Egypt?

I did hear rush mention the national Broadcasters meeting earlier in the week, so I think this was planned.

And if I were Sullivan I wouldn't touch the Rush Stories with a ten foot pole. That's just common sense.

I probably missed the mention, I can listen to hate radio for so long. I tuned in yesterday just to see how Rush would hang himself with the McNabb issue, after which I tuned out.

And if I were Sullivan I would probably be torn, defend the guy who writes my (hefty) paycheck, or wuss out and abandon ship while I still have some credibility left(Sullivan does have his own show).

Tough choice, and I still think a bit of a telling one. Also kind of suprised no caller has mentioned anything. Most sheep want answers when something upsets the herd.

I'll bet it's an extra crappy day to be a screener for Rush.

But I'm listening on the WLS 'net feed, heard the blurb for their morning show at the break; ". . . and does Rush have a drug problem? We'll talk about all of that and more, tommorow morning on WLS"

I made a note on another post about how he could pull two racist remarks for the price of one, since the Eagles are playing - - - the REDSKINS!

Plus, Rush-Lite Triv in Cleveland was mentioning that Friday, he (triv) would be broadcasting from Philadelphia (get to meet his lover!) because he's up for some award in this Broadcasters thingie, and that (his words!) it's a crock, because they tell you you are nominated for an award to fill up the hall and sell tables to bloat the numbers.
