I am AGAIN reduced to tears by what I am seeing
A woman was just shown on MSNBC, holding a child of perhaps 1 year old. The woman is crying and saying "My baby is not waking up easily. He needs water. This is not about rich or poor, black or white (she was white). This is about people. We need help now."

I am literally crying as I type this.

GOD PLEASE HELP THESE PEOPLE

1. Reporter now saying the police have left the convention center
Said Harry Connick Jr went and told the people he would do whatever he possibly could. The reporter described Connick as the 'only form of any authority whatsorever'.

People dying in their chairs.

babies dead

Reporter (cameraman actually) crying and saying he will NOT air what he's filmed.

15. He cares
Unlike the government who stole our country, Harry Connick is doing whatever he can ... and maybe even by just being there he's helping a bit. I don't know what he's doing, specifically, but he is there on the ground .... unlike our GOVERNMENT

10. The media has
helicopters, vans, etc., and obviously they've gotten their reporters there since they are talking to the people & interviewing them. Are they pitching in & trying to help get people out at all??? I know they're worried about getting their story, but that would make a good story too... :(

12. The mSNBC reporter on now
is heartbreaking. He said he couldn't even film some of what he saw -- the sanitation issues, the lack of food, the dead bodies. "Overwhelming" he said. And he added there were no authorities there. WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE AUTHORITIES? He said HARRY CONNICK JR was the only "Authority" in evidence.

This is killing those of us watching. We give money and give blood and wish we had helicopters so we could bring them water. IT'S SICKENING.

16. Ugh! Little chance of rain in NO after today
http://www.weather.com/activities/homeandgarden/home/weather/tenday.html?locid=70119&from=36hr_fcst10DayLink_home

The zip codes in the area are 7011# if that link doesn't work.

I certainly don't mean this as a sick joke. If it were to rain at least some water would be available. They could use buckets, shoes, their hands SOMETHING.

This is sad and amazingly sad to watch and I am just reading about it.

Pray hope dance whatever you can for rain.
