I just called Senator McCain's office and started crying as I spoke of my concerns. I called the Governor on Tuesday to urge National Gaurd deployment. It's all we can do. Call them, don't email. CALL NOW.

34. Ok, here's the letter I sent to my senators and rep, for all the cube rats

Dear Senator/Representative XXX:

I am writing to you today to plead that our state govt. provide emergency air drops of critical supplies of water and food to the victims of Katrina in New Orleans and Mississippi.

I am watching streaming video on the Internet. FEMA has still not coordinated water or food for these people, and is shutting down operations in many critical areas because they've determined it's 'too dangerous'.

People are literally dying at reporters feet on CNN due to dehydration as they have not had water for more than 3 days in some cases.

This is a national emergency. Is there anyway our state National Guard can do an emergency airdrop over the New Orleans area of water and food?

We as citizens of the United States must do something to help these people. I know people are being urged to give to the Red Cross, however, many of the Red Cross supplies will be arriving via boat and truck, and will not make it there in time.

Please, I am begging you on behalf of the citizens of New Orleans, to send some type of airdrop shipment of water.

This is very seriously, a matter of life and death for these people.

I asked what, if anything, our rep was doing about this tragedy...

She didn't know.

I asked why. She didn't have an answer. In fact, she was quite snotty that I would dare call and demand an answer about what was being done, and asked: 'Well, what should be done about it?"

The rep is a Repblican. Outrageous.

for "yelling" and "hostility"??
PROUDLY banned from GaryMiller since 2003. (you know, Iraq invasion protest calls)
When I call, they say, if you call again...so I hang up before they annunciate the threat itself. I have emailed asking for intervention in NO and am awaiting reply.
So emailing is my last available effort.

with the woman in his office. I told her I have never been so ashamed of my government and that the reaction to this from a Federal level was totally unacceptable. I said that there is a disconnect between what Bush said and what is happening on the ground. I told her I'm watching people die by the hour on TV and in every scenario the people are saying they have received no assistance whatsoever.

I told her to tell Brownback to mobilize the Kansas National Guard and get them dispatched TODAY...NOT TOMORROW.

She was much more sympathetic and understanding than Robert's office.

Also, she had to put me on hold because they are getting so many calls.

DU, THIS IS A NATIONAL EMERGENCY. PLEASE CALL YOUR SENATORS RIGHT AWAY.

They were very nice there. I begged them to have her get on television and make her presence / representing the people of New York.. well known and speak our position that we are demanding food and water drops all over these states.

I said if they can do it in a war zone, they can certainly do it with one idiot who has a gun. Our men wouldn't abandon ONE OF THEIRS in Iraq... but 20,000 of our own citizens here, we would??? because of one shooter!?!! please.

She agreed.. said they've had endless calls about this very exact nature...

and asked her why there weren't helicopters dropping water and food to those people in front of the convention center in New Orleans. She seemed very upset, and told me she's been praying. She switched me to someone from Homeland Security and she just kept repeating "we're doing everything we can"

Rep. Corrine Brown's office said that she has been on the phone non stop trying to find out what is going on. I told them that she needs to get out there and slam this administration for what is happening in NO. Even if they do tell her to shut up and sit down. They said that their phones have been ringing off the hook over this.

Sen. Nelsons' office said that they are recieving numerous calls over this and that they will give him my message.

Sen. Martinez' office said thank you for the call and what is you zip code. Said they haven't heard too much about this. Yet I could hear the phone ringing like crazy when I called.

I called upon and railed on every congress member to also demand their immediate resignation, and his impeachment!!!!

It is time for impeachment, no questions asked. To rally and riot until every single criminal is removed.

My letter below, related to high crimes and misdemeanors

Dear Congress,

It is high time to begin discussing impeachment and calling on the Bush Administration for their full resignation beginning with President Bush.

As the evidence piles up and the documents below show, we were lied into an illegal war by the President, and Congress was coerced into funding the project so that we could obtain oil and gain back the fossil fuels which we so depend on.

In our doctrine called the constitution it outlines that a
1)President and their staff may be impeached if the violations meet the criteria of high crimes and misdemeanors

This would meet the entire requirement, for lying the whole country into a war that was completely for self gain. But not only lying the country and paying congress to go along with that war, but also misplacing all of our national guard forces into Iraq and gutting funding for FEMA which could have prevented the holocaust disasters on the Southern Border from Mississippi to Alabama.

This funding for FEMA and the disaster relief was cut and gutted, by the Bush Administration after Congress attempted to re-enforce the measures. Why did this happen? So we could waste time in a completely illegal war!!!!!!!

And the cost of it all? One hundred thousand and counting citizens dead! And more on the way, which meets the requirement of deriliction of DUTY. Congress must act and immediately seek remedy to the situation by calling for resignations and introducing formal inquiries to impeachment.

No other acceptable turn of action can be prescribed. We went into war over false flag terror and come out with nothing but rising gas prices, and only half of the oil which the war was really about! This will not stand, and we are NEVER going to LET it stand!

This is a list from CNN of countries which have offered help to hurricane victims:

Russia, Japan, Canada, France, Honduras, Germany, Venezuela, Jamaica, Australia, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Greece, Hungary, Columbia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador.

I am calling for US citizens to appeal directly to these countries for humanitarian aid and troops to do whatever is needed to help our fellow citizens in need. THERE IS HELP OUT THERE. The decision of our corrupt federal government to let hurricane victims die of neglect is not MY decision.

Hundreds of millions of dollars are being spent every day in Iraq. Hundreds of thousands of US troops remain there. Yet, days after one of the greatest disasters in US history takes place, and thousands of US citizens are suffering and dying in ever-worsening conditions, we hear that there are NO plans for any troops to return home to help.
