New Yorkers, call Sen. Chuch Schumer. He's a pol in the tradition of "senator pothole" and you can expect at least an answer.

4. Schumer's office says he is getting a lot of calls about people dying of
lack of water. It's just a matter of pressure, pressuer. Keep calling -- and your reps.

It is probably better than calling the WH

6. After tsunami, our nuclear aircraft carriers provided immense amounts of
pure, fresh water from their onboard production facitilities. The numbers for capacity are enormoug - I tried to look for that post and the DU search feature is currently turned off.

Immediately after the tsunami, these carriers were on-site saving lives with that water. Where are they now?

We need to airlift water and also bring in water production/purification plants.

7. just called Rep. Greg Meeks ... they seemed puzzled?!?!?
Rep. Meeks is basically a decent congressman from one of the bluest districts in the country, but the receptionist seemed puzzled. She said no one had called yet.

I guess people didn't complain to his office because they assume no one is going to listen to him anyway.

Schumer's office has gotten a lot of calls. Keep it up!!

8. Instead of Water
request ROWPU units. Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Units. They can make clean water.
