I don't know this group or their music, but they remind me
somehow of Rammstein and Joachim Witt.
They play with Germany's "martial" traditions and combine them
with heavy german romantic words like "Sehnsucht": "Desire" or
"Longing" doesn't sound as deep as "Sehnsucht" in our
language.

Like many Germans, they seem to be impressed by Jack London's
"The Sea Wulf", published in 1904, somehow a literary
processing of Nietzsche and Freud.

To put it way too simple: the ongoing feeling in democratic
cultures, who define themselves as standing in the tradition
of enlightment, knowledge and science, that this is just a
kind of fraud. And the only true order of things is the order
of the jungle and the order of reason is just another name for
a new jungle.
