11. Of course it is SOP. People just get worked up in times such as these
There is not a lot of clear thinking going on by a lot of people.

15. I'm crying
How can we do this to our own countrymen? A swat team - unbelievable. These people need food, water and shelter.

America's soul is dead. Killed by Bushco and his supporters. I hope they are fucking happy. Goddamn all of them.

17. sorry.... i just can't do this anymore....
the despair is bringing me to the brink of doing something really
selfish.... for my own sake.. i have to try and get away from the reality... i'm so frustrated... so sad.... and so outraged....

there may be 'reason' behind it all.... but the suffering of these people is so visceral... so outrageous... and bush's little smile is flashing in my brain... like the demons from my past........

i gotta take a break...-
it was on cbs news, 5 mins or so ago... the chopper letting OFF the swat team, not picking anyone up, or dropping anything except instruments of death.... perhaps the kindest thing in the end.-

i'm an asshole- i just can't bear witness to this...and survive..
gotta take a mental time out.... wish i had a link-
wish i had a clue... wish i had a magic wand

workers will be torn to shreds, right ?

19. the only thing i really understand
is that i don't understand how to believe in believing anything good can survive in this world anymore.
i don't want the swat people killed, i don't want anyone killed i just want it all to stop- everything...now. and i don't control shit-
and can't do anything of substance to make any change and i can't stand that FACT........and i can't not want to implode...

21. I understand how you feel.
Take it slowly, you can control the input, there's nothing wrong with that, I do it all the time.

If you have a tv, shut it off.

Rely on DU for your news and only open threads that are productive.
There are way too many "the sky is falling" threads being posted.
Sensitive people have to protect their sanity on days like this.
You can't help if you shut down, so slow down.

We can and are helping, it's just not apparent how much we can do right now.
And don't forget you are helping others by being here, being part of a community that can and will move mountains.

I'm not very good at this but I am extremely sensitive too, so I know how you feel, believe me.
