This is fucking GENOCIDE. They cannot do this. They are MURDERING 80,000+ People.

At long last America, AT WHAT POINT DO WE DRAW THE LINE?

This cannot stand.

This is a crime against humanity.

These people have to be stopped.

"You're Either With Us Or Against Us."

This GODLESS BASTARD is AGAINST ALL OF US.

1. Yes, it is time. Unless we take to the streets everything will remain...
the same. I don't believe it can be done any other way. Change must come to this country.

11. How can you relate what is happening in NO to anarchy? The people
in New Orleans are desperate and are not to be blamed. We as a nation have let them down in their hour of need and it did not have to be that way. Taking to the streets is a figure of speech and can be done in many different ways.

But this will certainly give a whole new character to September 24 in D.C.

17. yes, i was explaining that to a friend yesterday
who has decided to go to DC 9/24 to protest (yay! i'm carpooling with him) and was trying to let him know that due to the travesty unveiling in the Gulf, that it may get ugly by then. And that it will get larger due to it. And it most likely will not be a peaceful demonstration, definetly not a love-in.

i wonder how many refugees from the Gulf will have exodused as far as DC in 23 days?

9. When the fruit is ripe, it will fall. . .
so, I agree with your utter frustration at how looooooooong the ripeness is taking. . .but the rotten fruit of the Bush Crime Family is about to fall. . .any time now. . .because these poor New Orleanians just haven't suffered since Monday. . .in many cases, IMHO, they have been suffering for generations. . .in the vicious cycle of poverty. . .SO THEY HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE BY ANARCHY. . .hell with impeachment process, they'll say.

12. I have a feeling if they somehow survive this
They are going to be thinking about something a bit beyond impeachement.

A word that rhymes with Pinching comes to mind.

13. Well...uh...well, I...I would like to, I really would, but, after all....
...this is Labor Day weekend and...well...we're going to have a barbeque...and...well, there might be a really, really good game on TeeVee, and...well...I don't know, there's just soooo much going on this weekend...might be some Labor Day specials...you know, maybe "Labor Day Parties of the Rich and Famous"...on TeeVee...and, I thought about having some friends over...kinda sit around and have a beer or two...it's Labor Day weekend, after all...you know...sleep in, and, maybe go out to lunch and to the malls to buy some stuff at the sales...so, not much time this weekend...maybe next weekend? Really, next weekend would be much, much better!

This is what they want you to do.

FEMA, the vacant prison camps, Pentagon ready to administer martial law, Chertoff wanting a piece of that particular action... consider these items.

Consider Bush strumming the guitar at a photo-op. We think he's stupid and heartless, which he is, but he has some of the best, most effective PR people to steer him and build his image. Those people who came up with the axis of evil and the "mission accomplished" feat, they're not stupid. They see Bush's ratings fall through the floor and they let him play the guitar on TV? Let me repeat: those people are not stupid, they know what these images are going to do. Apparently this is what they want.

On edit: the LA Times link is dead, but here's DU on the same:

It appears that feudal factions are forming. Warlords will arise. The People of NOLA are beyond angry and ripe for Insurgency. They no longer see Good and evil only rage.
