why aren't all eyes on the devastation?

I am so angry, sad, ect..... but a portion of my anger is the fact that people aren't recognizing the scale of this.

I've been out a few times today and people aren't reacting like 9/11. Why does abc,cbs, nbc have their regular shows on???????

I'm with you--angry, sad, enraged, frustrated beyond words. I am thinking of that John Donne poem, the one with the line that says "Every man's death diminishes me. Never send to ask for whom the bell tolls--it tolls for thee." The bell is tolling for all of us. With its last knell, our civilization as we know it will be gone and soon forgotten. Thank you, Mr. Bush, for your Compassionate Conservatism. May you sleep well knowing this and may your eternal reward be the one you so richly deserve. Flames of hell don't seem adequate enough.

People are dying from dehydration they don't care about it (maybe they would care if they were in a persistent vegetative state!)

I've talked to people who I know and love and they have no clue how bad this is. Even if a person cannot give money, they should at least give their humanity and be interested in what's going on. We should write the stations and say WTF????????
