NEW ORLEAN SEPT 2005 = BAGHDAD APRIL 2003
When we see the people struggling for survival in New Orleans today, keep in mind that this is exactly what the Iraqis have been dealing with since March 2003. It's eery.

It's like God is trying to teach us a lesson. Too bad Bush is too fucking stupid to get the message.

1. You're wrong!
We'd already sunk $83 billion into Baghdad by that point.

4. situation
It's an old LAPD trick, circa 1992 riots; you let the situation get very bad before you send in the cops. That way, public support veers away from the victims, who will then be seen as behaving badly. Then you bring in the cops big time to restore order. Like Bush said this AM on Good Moring, America: zero tolerance.

We have people, who have absolutely nothing in the way of supplies, dying by the hundreds (very soon thousands) and our government miserably failing to do anything.
