What is really going on here? Do they want people to die?

The evacuation has been stopped so they don't need the buses. There is no one helping the people at the convention center so why this:

12:27 p.m.: Government Foils Hotel's Plans To Bus Guests Out
Two French Quarter hotels say federal officials have foiled their plans to hire buses to ferry guests to higher ground.

The general manager of the Astor Hotel at Astor Crowne Plaza said the hotels teamed to hire 10 buses to carry some 500 guests.

But Peter Ambros said federal officials commandeered the buses, and told the guests to join thousands of other evacuees at the New Orleans convention center.

One man says he and others had paid $45 a seat for the buses, and that they were "totally stunned" when the buses never arrived. Another woman said the crowd had waited 14 hours for the buses. She said the idea of walking to the convention center scared her because of reports of looting.

The woman said it appears Louisiana officials have forgotten about tourists, and are just intent on getting their own residents out. -- Associated Press

Apparently they want people to die just for the hell of it.

That's pretty much all you need to know.

This whole disaster recovery is so bad it, it seems like they couldnt make it any worse if they tried. Why? Why are things going so wrong? Why are so many people being left for dead? This can't be what they WANT to happen.

It's apparently clear that the Bush Administration is killing poor blacks for some sinister purpose of his own. Anybody who doubts that this is all happening on purpose is living in fantasy land or is a secret freeper. Or at least that's what I'm reading.

The most sinister thing I see happening here is that if these were white people, they would be out of danger by now. Because they are black, it all about getting the policy families, hospital patients, pets, and for gods sake, keep the stuff in the stores safe BEFORE we get them black people out. It just looks so bad. Its hard to understand ANY of the decisions being made. It like they are fucking up on purpose.
