Live now: reporter telling NG and LA EOC heads that there are dead bodies
Edited on Thu Sep-01-05 02:13 PM by CottonBear
being shown on CNN and why aren't they being helped? Why are they starving and dying of thirst.

EOC guy looked surprised about bodies.

EOC Head says he didn't know about any major security problems at the hospitals. :wtf:

Blanco saying that hospital evaluation is a priority for today.

US Army General has asked Blanco to tell media and radio to STOP saying that there is shooting and rioting in the Superdome because he says there isn't and it is panicing people.

Q. "Baton Rouge is being deluged with refugees (security problems there.)

So many people calling for help via 'Net, not being addressed...

8. A doctor from a hospital got online somehow and contacted the Superdome
to get information and help. The Superdome people didn't know about the hospital situation.

7. There is no communication between these people.
The media, the police, the fire-fighters, FEMA, NG, the governor, the WH, the citizens, the large buildings with hundreds of people, etc.

The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Classic.

Yeah, everything changed after 9/11.... such bull. The only thing I see that is different is that the first responders were actually ALL there during 9.11.

9. This is tragic. People are dying. Police cheif says riots are "rumours."
Reporters say more murders in the last three days than all murders in one year. Police deny the report.

4. You know what? I've watched this and you can realize
that either 1) The Gov. was told 'you need to PR this better, it sounds too bad', 2) they have no idea about so much of what is happening...

The Mayor just sent out an SOS, but the GOV & these people are spouting a 'everything is under control', when the local stations are showing that people are trapped, there's a hospice where the workers were told 'we'll take the hospice patients, but your staff of 40 people are ON THEIR OWN'

wtf

5. We are witnessing anarchy, chaos and the breakdown of civil society.
Blanco just said "we need to watch our rhetoric."
